Bathory - Blood Fire Death

In epic nature and bounding rhythm this album presages much of modern black metal and with musical aspirations that created a new standard for the coming genre. Despite the high frequency of acoustic interludes and the shrieked but essentially sung vocals, the technique and riff structure roughly resembles what Slayer became on "Reign in Blood," with a higher degree of internal melody leading to carefully planned conceptual development. The result is breathtaking but savage. Centered on themes of war, death and Nordic triumph, this album inspired the rennovation in black metal of the early 1990s.

First, Do you like Bathory??
If you answer no, forget it, you aren't human.
If you listen Blood Fire Death you perceive, agressivity, brutality, dirty...
No words to describe Blood Fire Death, the song blood fire death it's like an opera from hell. And that voice of Quorton is unacreditable. Dies Irae, it's incredible, Holocaust, no words.... and the other songs are pure massacre, the finest bathory's album.
